Description
Hobart Institute of Welding Technology (HIWT) has been providing training programs for welders for decades. HIWT prepares its students for technical careers in welding technology, and it offers skill certificates in Specialized and In-Plant Training and Welding Skill Training. It also has online programs available in areas such as Symbols for Welding and Visual Inspection. Programs are designed to be completed in less than one year.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for admissions to HIWT, and there is a registration fee. Tuition costs vary by program.
