Astrodome Dental Career Center is dedicated to helping the residents of the City of Houston and the thirteen (13) surrounding counties in receiving meaningful training and gainful employment in the dental field. ADCC's goal is accomplishing this mission in a partnership with the dental community and various community organizations through out the Houston/Harris and surrounding counties. Our mission is to service the dental industry of this region by continually communicating with this industry. ADCC incorporates these needs into our learning process along with meeting the needs of our client. ADCC is meeting these needs by providing meaningful skills-vocational training specific to the industry we serve. This mission was conceived and established by a dentist some fourteen (14) years ago. Initially the program design was to serve economically disadvantaged persons. Today, the majority of our clientelle still falls into this category; however, it is our goal to expand our client base to the community at large. Over the years we have discovered that our training provides long term career opportunities to those persons not seeking a college education or education beyond high school. Many of our clients have also been relegatd to minimum wage jobs, and this training program allows them the opportunity to advance to better employment and career opportunities. Our mission is to provide our clients with meaningful career opportunities to improve their life and become more productive citizens to their communities.
