Description

Heritage Valley Sewickley School of Nursing is a member of Heritage Valley Health System. Created in November 1996, Heritage Valley Health System consists of two community hospitals (Heritage Valley Sewickley and Heritage Valley Beaver), four large affiliated physician groups, and community health facilities serving western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.

Heritage Valley's vision is to be the healthcare system of choice for the communities it serves. Its mission is to improve the health and well-being of all peoples in the communities it serves. The virtues Heritage Valley aspires to are competence, responsibility, compassion, collaboration and ethical behavior.

The School of Nursing (SON) is concerned with and contributes to the mission and philosophy of Heritage Valley Health System by providing a quality nursing program that prepares graduates for roles as professional registered nurses in hospitals and in other healthcare delivery settings in the community.
