Description

For the aspiring barber in Grand Prairie, Mid-Cities Barber College offers excellent vocational training. The school has been giving students the skills and experience to pass the Texas Barber Licensing Exam for over 20 years.

Mid-Cities Barber College offers two courses: Barber Stylist, and Barber Instructor. The Barber Stylist course is a 1500-hour program, while the Instructor course is 1000 hours. Both programs are designed to meet Texas’ requirements for licensed barbers.

MCBC is in a great location, too. Nestled between Dallas and Fort Worth, Grand Prairie provides easy access to two of the most exciting cities in Texas. With endless local shopping and entertainment options (including Six Flags Theme Park and the Dallas Cowboys), the Mid-Cities is a great place to study.

Admissions to Mid-Cities Barber College are limited to those with a high school diploma or GED. In place of either of these documents, the school also accepts a Wonderlic score of 15. A small application fee is required in addition to proof of state residence.
