Florida Atlantic University (FAU)- Academics

As far as academics go, I was very impressed with FAU. Often times college students are presented with the idea that college professors will be rude, and not care much about whether the student learns or not. However, FAU's professors and staff are diverse educators that genuinely care about effectively teaching their students. As a side note, the class sizes are not as large as beginning college students are told. The largest lecture I was enrolled in had 150 students, although that is large, compared to other class sizes at other universities, it is on the small size.

There is a great variety of classes and programs you could take. Especially when your looking for what to take in your own field. With the requirements you are given to graduate there are still more classes left to take! The accessibility to office hours and lab hours is great as well. The workload fits to whats write for the subject matter. Class size depends on the programs you take.
