Mount Olive College is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts traditions with locations in Mount Olive, Goldsboro, Jacksonville, New Bern, the Research Triangle Park, Washington and Wilmington, North Carolina. The College is helping to transform the lives of more than 700 traditional students and over 3800 working adults in a friendly, Christian environment.

Our mission is to operate and maintain a private, church-affiliated college for the education of men and women that offers programs including professional studies, that are rooted in the liberal arts tradition and provided in an environment nurtured by Christian values;
To maintain and support academic excellence through higher learning and higher values in a community made up of persons dedicated to the practice and advancement of Biblically based Christian ideals and Christ centered living in all aspects of life;
To seek and require higher standards in providing relevant educational programs reflecting an emphasis on the personal growth of each student at places and times that enhance the possible.

Mount Olive College at Mount Olive offers traditional programs for recent high school graduates and transfer students and evening programs for working adults. Our programs are tailored to fit your needs and educational goals.

The one common goal of all Mount Olive College students is to achieve success, no matter what their stage in life. Success is achieved through small classes, a nurturing environment, and a focus on each individual student.

Mount Olive College is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition. The College is located in the town of Mount Olive, North Carolina, USA between Raleigh and Goldsboro. The College also has additional locations in eastern North Carolina including Goldsboro, New Bern, Research Triangle Park, Washington and Wilmington.

Mount Olive College was founded in 1951 by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists.

The College serves approximately 700 traditional students and 3800 working adults. The college currently offers over 40 major and 20 minor courses of study for recent high school graduates and college transfer students. Working adults have the opportunity to continue full time employment and earn a degree through several one night a week programs. The programs for working adults include the Heritage associate degree program, criminal justice and criminology, early childhood education, health care management, management and organizational development, management of information systems and modular religion major.

The average class size is 15 students. Degrees offered include associate of arts, associate of science, bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, and bachelor of applied science. Nearly 35% of the student body participates in intercollegiate athletics (NCAA Division II). More than 90% of all undergraduate students receive some type of financial aid.

In 2008 the baseball team won the NCAA Division II World Series.
