MOC Description

Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, North Carolina strives to integrate such Christian values as caring and respect into all aspects of the educational experience.

A four-year Baptist college, Mt. Olive offers degrees through the Schools of Business, Arts and Sciences and the School of Professional Studies, where one may major in Education, Psychology or Recreation Studies.

Committed to the Christian mission of caring for others, Mount Olive provides small classes so that students may have the optimum amount of support.

Mount Olive also supports its students by giving as many students as possible the chance to study. Six additional campuses and online learning allow thousands of students, many of whom are working adults, to study at Mt. Olive.

Mount Olive offers student housing on its main campus. However, a majority of its students do not require it and live off-campus.

Supporting students in all areas of their lives, Mount Olive has a counseling center where students may receive supportive therapy for stress, mental health issues, substance abuse and other difficulties.

Mount Olive also has a Student Success Center where students may get academic advising, take classes in study skills, receive tutoring or get career counseling.

Loans, work-study, scholarships, grants and financial assistance specifically designated for North Carolina residents are some of the financial aid options available to those who qualify. Financial aid counselors can discuss the application process, your eligibility and which forms of aid may best benefit you.
