UCF is one of the fastest growing school currently in the US. There is always construction and parking is a nightmare. Because UCF so large, it can be difficult to find necessary classes for one's degree program. Because of this, UCF has also been nicknamed "U Can't Finish" because many students do not graduate in the typical four years for normal bachelor's degree.

Academics

Class size can range from 15 students to over 200 students. Students are encouraged to stay in contact with one another and often times are put in groups in order to complete assignments. Although it can be difficult to get in contact with professors due to competing with others for limited office time, instructors are helpful and nice (well, most are).

College Life

Any student that wishes to be active on campus will find that UCF gives many different opportunities for students to get involved. There are tons of clubs, workshops, and programs for students to be involved. Most campus programs are offered on school days with the exception of a few volunteer programs. Campus security is available, but on rare occasions there are reports of crimes happening on campus, including violent crime.

I love the fact that everyone that attends the University of Central Florida seem to be so united. Each and every game, event, or even day I see how together everyone seems to be. I love walking through campus and seeing all of the people who enjoy my campus as much as I do.

Academics

University of Central Florida seems to have a great way of organizing their classes. Each class seems to be well put together and I love the fact that there is so much help offered for each and every class.

College Life

My freshman year here at UCF, I rushed into the greek organization and I have never been happier. The amount of organizations here allows you to be apart of anything you could even imagine. There seriously is a club for everyone or anything it really is impossible not to be involved.

I am enjoying my experience so far here at UCF. The professors are great, the campus is beautiful, and there is school spirit all over. my first semester I had some medical problems and the school and professors worked with me about my finals. I would recomend this school to anyone looking for a great college experience.

Academics

The classes are actually pretty fun. like i said my professors have all been great and the class size has not been too bad. first going into UCF i thought it would be like the movies where its a huge classroom, no one on one time with professors and for open disscussions but every class there was.

College Life

School spirit is the best way to explain the campus. everyone walking around is showing their school spirit and in the school colors. there are many things that go on and great food on campus. even special events are taken place. Around the campus the school spirit is shown, which gives you a sense the community supports us, and the football games are awesome!!

Overall

I liked UCF the first time I visited the campus, its sheer scale and vast amount of provided conveniences were only two of the many reasons why UCF was my first choice while looking at college. It was such a great choice to enroll here and I have highly recommended it to all of my friends back home.

Academics

I opted to take only 4 classes at a time for convenience and comfortability . My professors have all been friendly, interesting and very helpful and accessible and while I haven't loved every class I've taken, I can definitely say I've learn quite a bit from each class. The workload has been manageable and the class size was daunting at first but one quickly becomes used to it.

College Life

Because I am not fond of the "partying" scene, that has limited the social festivities I've indulged in. Greek life, clubs, dances, tailgating, sports events, and the like are all quite readily available and accessible, tho of little interest to me personally. Campus safety is impressive and respectable to say the least (I have had virtually no interaction with them however). I enjoy the vast diversity of individuals on campus and though I'm fairly shy, I've had the pleasure of meeting a plethora of interesting people and have made several new friends.

The school is a beautiful campus; it is gigantic and almost everyone uses a skateboard or bicycle to get around. there are many events and clubs where one can enjoy themselves. many places to eat inside the campus, they are just expensive. a good overall atmosphere.

Academics

I basically chose to attend university of central florida to try out their sports and exercise science degree. UCF does a good job at communicating with their students and does a great job with the professors that teach the classes within this degree.

College Life

whether it is relaxing and reading a book, walking, talking with friends, seeing weird things such as this past Universal knights event, UCF is the place to be. there is always something happening regarding student life and the campus caters to many people.

Overall

I love attending the Univesity of Central Florida. It was the best choice for living in a large city in a safe area. It is a large, clean, safe and open campus that is easy to navigate. There was always a tremendous amount of school spirit and I am happy that it was my school of choice.

Academics

When I attended the University we had a very competitive Theatre program that was the best in the state. The Professors we very involved and I was able to graduate a year early. I never felt the class size was an issue and the workload was always managable.

College Life

The Greek life on campus was great. All of the houses on campus got along and made Homecoming a wonderful and memorable event. The parties were also amazing and fun. You did not have to be in the Greek system to have fun or go to parties. I decided in my sophmore year to join Alpha Delt Pi and lived on campus and found that it was much easier living on campus instead of driving from my apt.
