Description
Designed for second-language learners who wish to gain proficiency in English while training for a career, Metropolitan Learning Institute in Rego, New York grants diplomas in several professional fields.
All Metropolitan students first take a series of ESL classes designed to give them enough fluency to continue coursework.
They then proceed to their program of choice, getting a diploma in such fields as Medical Assisting, Accounting Assisting, Medical Office Administration and Computer Office Technology.
Since classes are flexible and offered during the day and evening, students who have work and other obligations may still attend.
Eligible students may receive enough financial aid to completely or almost completely cover tuition costs.
