Description

Those who want to enter into a career in aviation, and have the desire to perform maintenance and repairs on small planes and large jets, should consider National Aviation Academy (NAA) in Clearwater, Florida.

The academy prepares students for a profession in aviation, and gets them ready for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification. It provides technical training in the following types of certificate programs: Aviation Maintenance Technology, Avionics Technology, and Aviation Maintenance Management.

The school also offers courses to those who already have advanced aviation experience to prepare them for an inspector authorization (IA) and any related final exams.

Financial aid in the form of federal grants and loans is available to eligible students. The academy is also an approved veteran’s training center for Airframe and Power Plant Certification, and qualifying students can apply for VA education benefits.

The campus is just a short drive to the dynamic city of Tampa and all it has to offer. NAA Clearwater’s classrooms are actual laboratories and airline hangars located near St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport. Learning is hands-on so that students may gain the skills they need to achieve excellence in the field. Much of the curriculum is devoted to direct work on planes, engines, and other aircraft equipment.
