Located in the heart of Lufkin, the Academy of Hair Design is a premier cosmetology school in Deep East Texas. The Academy’s academics include programs in Cosmetology and Manicuring, and Cosmetology Instruction.

The Academy of Hair Design’s admissions process is thorough and helpful. Before enrollment, students have an advising session that includes career information on their chosen course. You can find out what jobs are available in your field, how much you’ll be earning, and if you’ll be suited to the demands of the job.

Completion times for the courses vary depending on how much work you put into them. However, you can expect to finish the Cosmetology course in about a year, the Nail Technician course in 5 months, and the Instructor course in about 6 months.

The Academy does not have a student loan program. However, pell grants and other federal financial aid are available to eligible students for all of the courses. To apply, fill out the FAFSA by the appropriate deadline.
