With locations across Louisiana and four different schools offering career-oriented programs of study, Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is a destination for career-minded students. The location is Tallulah is perfect for those who live in the northeast corner of the state.
Those who attend LDCC will find a wide variety of academics that teach the skills needed for in-demand careers. Programs at LDCC are all offered through four schools:
- School of Business
- School of Health Sciences
- School of Technology
- School of Liberal Arts
Possible majors range from Teaching to Nursing. The School of Technology is the largest, offering programs in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Drafting and Design, Welding and many more.
Admissions at LDCC are open, and the admissions office is very flexible in working with students from all backgrounds to get them enrolled. All that is required academically is a high school diploma or GED; no SAT or ACT scored are needed.
Financial aid is limited at the school, but LDCC does offer a number of scholarships from the community. Federal financial aid through the FAFSA is available in the form of grants, however LDCC does not offer federal loans.
