Description

Practical, real-world technical education at a well-established school is what one can expect at Louisiana Technical College in Shreveport, Louisiana.

One of 40 campuses, the Shreveport location of LTC offers training for the automotive, culinary, industrial, medical and other industries.

Over the past 70 years and counting, LTC has had time to grow and expand not only regionally, but also in its academics and technologies.

Consequently, LTC is always refining its programs to include the most up-to-date technologies and learning methods.

One way that LTC has done this is through comprehensive, real-world training, teaching students through the actual performance of their trade. A nursing or dental student will, for example, spend time working in a clinic and a student in the automotive division will repair cars.

Dedicated to serving as many students as possible, LTC does its best to provide financial aid to qualifying students. There are also certain tuition waivers for those experiencing financial hardship.

Admission requirements include proof of a high school diploma or GED and the passing of an entrance exam.
