Description

If you’ve considered pursuing a career in massage therapy, now is a good time to do so. Massage therapy is a booming industry, expected to grow in the coming years. With four locations throughout Ohio, Schools of Medical Massage provide the training you need to take advantage of these job opportunities.

The Dayton School of Medical Massage offers the same professionally oriented academics as its counterparts. SMM Dayton’s massage program is a 750-hour course that teaches massage technique as well as anatomy, physiology, ethics and business law. The course fulfills the Ohio State Medical Board’s requirements for licensed massage therapists.

SMM Dayton’s curriculum emphasizes the importance of hands-on experience. In the Student Massage Clinic, you can practice the skills you learn in a supervised professional environment.

Schools of Medical Massage have only two admissions requirements: a high school diploma or GED, and the drive to succeed. Financial aid is available in the form of federal grants and loans. The school recommends applying for financial aid as part of the application process.
