Description
Northeast Louisiana Technical College (NELTC) Ruston Campus is a technical vocational school with the following types of certificate programs: Business Office Technology, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Welding.
NELTC is a member of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System (LCTCS), which has 40 campuses statewide. This provides state residents with convenient access to occupational education.
NELTC is a small institution, so students get the benefit of more personalized attention from their professors. Students can even take eligible classes virtually through the LCTCS online program.
The school accepts various sources of financial aid, and options are made available to those who apply and are found eligible. It also offers a high school dual-enrollment program for those who want to take college-level courses and get a head start on earning college credits.
A nice feature of Northeast Louisiana Technical College Ruston Campus is that it helps its students with career placement services. Although it cannot guarantee its students a job, the school is committed to preparing them for the workforce and assisting them in their search for potential opportunities.
