Description

Allen Community College serves students interested in career training or academics at a fraction of the tuition of the average four-year university.

Located in Iola, Kansas with a campus in Burlingame, ACC offers associate’s degrees and certificates leading to careers in medical assisting, substance abuse counseling, information technology and early childhood education.

Degrees leading to four-year transfers include those offered in general studies, liberal arts, sciences and pre-professional programs such as pre-med and pre-veterinary medicine. Online courses are also available.

Student life at Allen includes events like movie nights, concerts, and cultural and sporting events. There are also numerous student clubs and organizations. Services include advising, career development, peer tutoring and a writing assistance program. Finally, Allen is one of the few community colleges that offers on-campus housing.

Tuition at Allen is the same whether one is a resident of Kansas or another state. For students who require full or partial assistance, financial aid is available through loans, grants and other sources.
