Everett Community College (EvCC) is a community college located in Everett, Washington. The college was founded in 1941 and currently enrolls over 8,000 students per quarter. Most students earn their associate degree in arts and sciences after two years of college, and then some transfer to a four-year college to finish their bachelor's degree. Courses EvCC offers can be tailored to specialized career majors such as programming, nursing, or accounting.

EvCC consists of 13 modern brick buildings on a tree-shaded campus adjoining Legion Memorial Park Golf Course in Everett. The Parks Student Union Building is where most students go for lunch or to the student lounge, The Paperclip, where students can relax and watch TV or a movie. The library is located downstairs and houses reading and studying areas. In early 1999, the college built a two-story state-of-the-art Instructional Technology Center .

EvCC students are a variety of ages and come from diverse backgrounds: some are commuters, exchange students, or spouses and parents. In addition to traditional classroom courses, EvCC offers courses that can be taken online through the Blackboard course management software.

Everett Community College and Cascadia Community College are both within reasonable commuting distance of the Lynnwood area and are served by Community Transit, Sound Transit, and Cascadia also has some Metro routes serving it. Everett Community College has some Education programs from Western Washington University, and Cascadia shares a campus with University of Washington at Bothell. And if you want to commute down into King County you will find Shoreline Community College in the northern part of the county. You have many great educational resources in Snohomish and King Counties - all on bus lines that go in and out of Lynnwood
