Description

A small school with a strong track record, ACT College has been training Virginia residents for careers in healthcare for more than 25 years.

Located in Manassas, Virginia, ACT has additional campuses in Arlington and Alexandria.

At the Manassas campus, students may train for such rewarding occupations as Medical Assisting and Medical Radiography.

As a family-owned school that features small classes and accessible faculty and student services, ACT staff members give students personal attention, whether in the classroom or in the career services department. In fact, career services is so committed to students that they help them to network, find jobs, meet employers and get interviews.

ACT’s relationship with local employers also allows students to take on externship assignments at local medical facilities, increasing their employability and professional experience.

The financial aid office is also helpful at ACT College. Counselors assist students with the application process and in selecting which types of aid (loans, grants, scholarships, private funding, etc.) are best suited to them.

Admission to ACT is available to anyone with a high school diploma or GED who has a sincere interest in a healthcare career. Prospective students will need to visit the campus and meet with an ACT counselor to discuss their career goals and interests. At that time, students will also fill out an application.
