Description

Cosumnes River College (CRC) offers a supportive environment for Sacramento residents of all backgrounds wishing to pursue a degree.

Part of the California Community College system, CRC offers associate degree programs for those who wish to transfer to a four-year university. They also have vocational certificates which help lead to employment after graduation.

CRC’s programs are divided into different subject areas, which include business, family science, visual and performing arts, and careers and technology, which features medical and technical programs.

Classes are available throughout the day and evening and online as well.

CRC has particularly comprehensive support systems in place. A career center, disability support, tutoring, personal counseling, the Puente project and internship opportunities are just a few of the services available. CRC also has a program that helps foster youth transition into college.

Students may also obtain financial aid if they qualify. Aid options include Veteran’s benefits, loans, grants and work-study. All financial aid offerings as well as the application process may be discussed with a financial aid counselor.
