Description

The Florida State College in Jacksonville, Florida, is a public four-year college that offers associate’s and bachelor’s degrees from campus or online.

Students may become involved in a variety of student life opportunities. The Artist Series brings some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry to Northeast Florida every month. Students can also gain real-world experience by participating in the Community Services division of the college, which offers educational resources to meet the learning needs of the community.

A number of student clubs and organizations like Phi Theta Kappa, the Student Government Association and Student Ambassadors provide both leadership and social opportunities to all students, no matter where your interests lie.

Academics are offered in a variety of disciplines, from the arts and sciences to aviation to culinary arts and hospitality. General education associate’s and bachelor’s degrees are also available for students looking to continue their education.

Admissions are open, but require students to have earned a high school diploma or GED.

Tuition is set lower for Florida residents. Eligible Georgia residents also receive tuition discounts.

The school offers Title IV financial aid. Forms of aid include Pell grants, PLUS loans, work study programs and Florida state assistance grants.

The school ok, and affordable for people that wanna save money, plus some campus like downtown, kent and south are ok, but not deerwood though. It's best to go to downtown to do paper work, it's a lot faster.

Florida State college in jacksonville is a pretty good campus especially for people who wanna save from from going to a out of stater university. Plus people who will go toa university later, who is getting to know what college is like. Some campuses are good and some aren't so good, but they are good in other ways. In the student paperwork/sign up office, there some some people who are really nice, male and female who will help ya, then there are some who won't tell ya all the info you need to know, and you have to find out for yourself, or ask somebody else.
