Del-Mar-Va Beauty Academy in Salisbury, Maryland offers comprehensive, hands-on training in the beauty arts.

Del-Mar-Va Beauty has two distinctive programs: one in Cosmetology, and the other in Nail Technology. Completion the1,500-hour Cosmetology program qualifies students to become certified cosmetologists in Maryland, Delaware or Virginia.

The Nail Technology program, which takes a little less than six months to complete, gives students comprehensive training in manicuring and pedicuring and qualifies them for the state nail technician license exam.

Del-Mar-Va’s salon that is open to the public, gives students the opportunity to practice their craft on real people by cutting, styling and coloring hair and performing manicures and pedicures.

Various financial aid sources are available to eligible students, including Pell grants, federal loans, and state, local and school scholarships.
