RESU Description
Resurrection University (formerly West Suburban College of Nursing) in Oak Park, Illinois, offers all levels of hospital-based medical training and degree programs.
At Resurrection University, you can earn a master’s degree to become a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Nurse Administrator, Nurse Educator or Nurse Practitioner.
You can also earn a bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Health Informatics or a career certificate to be a Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist.
Starting the first day of school, students at Resurrection undertake their training in an actual hospital, getting real-world training and experience.
Flexibility is one of the defining traits of a Resurrection education. Students may enroll in the fall, winter, spring or summer. Classes are available in the evening and on the weekends in addition to regular day classes.
Campus life activities include a student government association, national student nurse’s association and a nursing honor society.
Admissions requirements depend on the program to which you apply. Financial aid is available to those who meet financial need and other requirements. Those seeking financial aid will need to fill out a FAFSA and can expect to receive loans and/or grants if they qualify.
