Thank you!22 months ago
Best AnswerIf this is the school with campus locations in L.A., Huntington Beach, and Ontario, CA, then this statement from their "About Us" page http://www.plattcollege.edu/about_us.php might be what you want to know: "... Platt College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. The College is also approved by the Bureau of Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education pursuant to California Education Code Section 94310. ..." ACCSCT Web site: http://www.accsct.org/ U.S. Dept. of Education list of accreditation agencies: http://www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/accreditation_pg10.html So, the school has accreditation by an agency the U.S. government approves, to accredit institutions for eligibility for Federal student loans. As a vocational/technology school, credits you earn for course work there are not likely to transfer as college credit to other 4 year institutions, but if you are looking for a short program of instruction to prepare you for a specific career in a field, it might be the place for you. |
