Description
If you are interested in priesthood within the Catholic faith, why not consider one of the oldest Catholic seminaries in the US? St. Mary's Seminary & University in Baltimore, Maryland, provides traditional priestly formation programs and a strong spiritual life on campus.
St. Mary's Seminary offers a bachelor's and a doctoral degree as well as a licentiate in Sacred Theology, allowing students to work all the way up to being able to teach in an ecclesiastical faculty, if they wish. The school also offers master's degrees in Divinity and Theology, as well as a combined BA/MA degree.
Students may also pursue the Pastoral Studies program for priesthood, or start with Pre-Theology courses if they feel the need to catch up on spiritual studies.
The campus features beautiful, historical buildings and a student life that is heavily based on spirituality. The campus also hosts the Associated Archives, which holds the archival records of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, founded all the way back in 1789.
