National Institute of Massotherapy, Cleveland

12684 Rockside Rd, Cleveland, OH 44125

Description

Cleveland, Ohio’s campus is one of two locations for the National Institute of Massotherapy. Students of the institute learn valuable vocational skills to market themselves in todays job economy.

Students can choose between three programs of study; an associate’s degree in clinical massage therapy, diploma in massage therapy, and certificate in massage.

The associate’s degree can be completed in about 23 months, and provides instruction beyond the state minimum in body and clinical training. The diploma program provides thorough preparation for the state licensure exam, and can be completed in about 16 months. The massage certificate course is available on Saturdays for a three-month period, but does not prepare students to take licensure exams.

Students are able to receive hands-on experience through the campus clinic, which is open to the public at a discounted rate. Students are supervised by faculty, but are expected to take care of the clients from beginning to end.

Faculty and staff are dedicated to the success of their students, which is why they make a point to always be available for questions, and tutoring is provided to help students who are struggling.

National Institute of Massotherapy’s Cleveland location is a promising way to begin your new career in massage therapy.
