For those whose goal is to get a bachelor’s degree, Riverland also has associate’s degree programs in the liberal arts and sciences, designed for transfer to a four-year school.
Among Riverland’s student activities are music and theatre performance groups, a literary magazine and several academic, service and special interest clubs. Riverland also has a student art gallery.
Riverland also has numerous financial aid resources. In addition to participating in federal aid programs, which award loans and grants to eligible students, Riverland sponsors a number of scholarship programs for those who qualify.
These programs are funded by outside non-profits and other organizations and include scholarships for adult students, scholarships for Latino students and scholarships for those majoring in specific subjects.
Students who wish to attend Riverland will need to complete an online application, submit transcripts from schools previously attended, and complete math and English assessments.
