Located in Independence, Kansas, ICC grants select professional degrees and certificates primarily in technical and industrial fields like:

*Computer Programming
*Engineering Technology
*Web Design and Development

Independence students interested in the arts and academia, particularly those who wish to transfer to a four-year school, may also earn a degree or certificate in the liberal arts or in specialized creative arts disciplines like:

An open-enrollment school, ICC accepts any Kansas resident with a high school diploma or GED as well as non-Kansas residents with a diploma from an accredited high school.

Prospective students may fill out an application online or mail one into the school. Transcripts of all schools attended are required for admissions.

Federal financial aid, which includes loans and grants, is awarded to students who demonstrate a strong financial need. Students may also apply separately for academic and special interest scholarships, which include those awarded to individuals of certain cultural or other backgrounds.
