About Hill College, Hillsboro

Hill College Hillsboro (HCH) is a two-year institution that offers innovative academic and vocational programs as well as continuing education courses.

For those who want to earn a two-year degree, and then transfer to another four-year school, HCH has an appealing Dual Admission program. The program allows qualifying students to utilize the benefits and resources of two higher learning institutions.

All students need to do is get accepted to HCH and one of its university partners such as Texas Tech University, Texas Wesleyan University, or University of Texas (Arlington and Dallas campuses). After they have completed their associate's degrees, their credits are transferred over right away, so they can get started on their bachelor's degrees.

Admissions at HCH require that prospective students submit an enrollment application and fee along with official transcripts. Placement tests may also be requested. Financial aid is available to those who apply and are found eligible.

Programs of study at HCH include:

  • Accounting and Business Management
  • Athletic Training
  • Cosmetology
  • Elementary Education
  • Nursing
  • Real Estate
  • Web Development
  • Welding

College life at Hill College Hillsboro gives students learning experiences outside of the classroom environment, and brings them together for a variety of activities such as rodeos and other sporting events, as well as museum exhibits and benefit fundraisers.
