Description

Oehrlein School of Cosmetology in East Peoria, Illinois trains its cosmetology students with a hands-on and uniquely structured curriculum, which uses a step-by-step learning process along with frequent reviews and test preparation.

Oehrlein’s single program in Cosmetology thoroughly grounds students in the basics, where they learn how to correctly use tools, employ proper sanitation and shampoo hair.

From there more advanced skills are learned, such as hair coloring, styling and esthetics. Advanced students also work under faculty supervision in the school salon, where they develop their styling and customer service skills.

At Oehrlein, students also periodically review information to ensure that they’ve absorbed all of the skills and knowledge that they need and also to increase their chances of passing the licensing exam.

Those who need help paying tuition fees may apply for financial aid. Grants are awarded for those with a strong financial need while loans are available to anyone who is in good standing with the Department of Education.

For information on how to apply and enroll, contact an Oehrlein representative.
