Description
Pomona Unified School District’s Adult and Career Education division is for adult residents of Pomona or Diamond Bar, California who want to receive valuable career training at little to no cost. While high school students may attend with permission from their school counselor, Pomona’s School of Adult and Career Education (ACE) exists primarily to educate adults aged 18 and over.
The career-based certifications offered at ACE lead to positions in health sciences, cosmetology, and computers, among others.
ACE also offers different levels of ESL classes and courses in citizenship.
Many classes are offered free of charge. Those classes that do charge only require a small fee. Payment arrangements and financial aid plans are also available to those who qualify.
Other services are available to students as well. Included among these is the Career Center, which will offer job searching opportunities and other helpful services to help students in their education and future careers.
