Description
Not only does the Meadville, Pennsylvania campus of Laurel Technical Institute offer hands-on training in several professional fields of study, it is also the only one of the Laurel Technical Institute campuses with a program in Early Childhood Education.
Other programs offered at Meadville include Administrative Office Technology, Business and Cosmetology.
At all of the LTI campuses, students learn through a hands-on approach. Students in the Cosmetology program, for example, work at the school salon and offer hair, nail and makeup services to the public.
LTI also makes sure that a student’s learning experience is a personal one. One way they do this is to keep classes small, so that each student may have the chance to work one-on-one with faculty.
Student services offers all students the opportunity to undertake internships in their field through work at local companies. They also provide career counseling and job-placement assistance for students as well as graduates.
Student life offerings include a student government association and local community service activities.
Admission to LTI requires proof of a high school diploma or GED, completion of an entrance exam and a school interview.
Financial aid is available to eligible students, as is tuition assistance for veterans.
