GMC Valdosta’s postsecondary academics include associate’s degrees in the arts and sciences. There are about 20 programs of study available in subjects varying from Behavioral Science to Homeland Security & Emergency Management. Georgia Military College designs its programs for transfer to four-year institutions, and the core curriculum facilitates easy credit transfer.

The school admits three types of students: degree-seeking, joint enrollment, and transient. Admissions requirements differ depending on which category you fall into, so make sure you have the right materials before you apply.

Student life at Georgia Military College’s Valdosta campus includes such opportunities as the student newspaper, literary magazine and student service league. The school also hosts a chapter of the international honor society Phi Beta Kappa.

GMC Valdosta is eligible for government financial aid programs, including grants and loans. The college also offers scholarships. None of Georgia Military College’s scholarships are awarded automatically, so make sure you fill out an application at the Office of Advancement.
