The Institute for Massage Therapy’s campus at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey is one of several ITM locations throughout New Jersey. The UMDNJ campus was ITM’s first hospital-based location and now offers a wide range of massage therapy, including:

*Clinical Massage Therapy
Because of its location, this Institute for Massage Therapy campus’ academics are largely based on the clinical aspects of massage therapy. For example, the Clinical Massage Therapy curriculum includes courses like Trauma and Bodywork, Neuropathology and Modified Swedish Massage for Cancer Survivors.
The Institute for Massage Therapy’s admissions office requires a high school diploma or GED. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years of age and provide a doctor’s statement confirming your mental and physical health.
Financial aid is available for qualifying ITM programs. Some of the options include federal programs like Pell grants and Stafford loans, as well as VA benefits. ITM also offers interest-free payment plans to eligible students.
