With more than 55 years of teaching experience, National Beauty College has become a trusted name in cosmetology instruction. The school’s academics offer a comprehensive cosmetology program designed to give you a diverse skill set, so you can work in a variety of capacities in the beauty industry.
National Beauty College also gives its students a somewhat unique internship opportunity. This internship is available later in the course (after you’ve completed at least 750 hours), and enables you to choose from a long list of participating local salons.
To apply to NBC Canton, you must hold a high school diploma or GED. Additional admissions requirements include an on-campus interview, orientation session and aptitude evaluation.
National Beauty College’s cosmetology program is eligible for Title IV financial aid programs. These programs, which include Pell grants and Stafford loans, are need-based, so you need to fill out the FAFSA to qualify. NBC Canton also participates in the OPI Scholarship Program, and the school offers a monthly payment plan spread out over a year.
