Villanova University, a coeducational Roman Catholic institution founded in 1842 by the priests and brothers of the Order of St. Augustine, welcomes students of all faiths. The university consists of five colleges: The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, The School of Business, The College of Engineering, The College of Nursing and The School of Law. It is the oldest and largest Catholic university in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
