Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa offers enriching student life and diverse academics in an intellectually, spiritually, socially and creatively integrated community.

A small, private Catholic University, Saint Ambrose’s more than 75 programs lead to bachelor’s and graduate degrees.

Undergraduate majors include such varied subject areas as Art Education, Biology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Music, Nursing, Theology, Theatre and Women’s Studies.

Master’s degrees are offered in Accounting, Criminal Justice, Education, Occupational Therapy and Social Work, among others.

Student life offers enrichment on many levels. One of the few schools in the Midwest known for its resort-like living, St. Ambrose’s residence halls have wi-fi, cable television, private bathrooms and a housekeeping service.

Spiritual activities include retreats, interfaith activities, spiritual study groups and mass services. Also offering recreational and social outlets, St. Ambrose is home to numerous athletic teams, student clubs and creative arts offerings.

Freshman admission requirements include a minimum GPA and submission of standardized test scores. However, provisional admission may be offered for those who don’t meet these criteria.

Eligible St. Ambrose students may receive some form of financial aid to help with tuition and other expenses.
