Robert Morris College bears the name of an outstanding American of the Revolutionary War who has been called the “Financier of the Revolution.” Robert Morris helped the movement for freedom by securing the financial assistance — including his own personal resources — for the patriots during the Colonial struggle.
Today, Robert Morris College embodies the spirit of independence and personal resourcefulness that American patriot Robert Morris symbolized more than 220 years ago.
As one of the largest private not-for-profit colleges in Illinois, Robert Morris College and its predecessor institutions have been providing quality education for over 90 years. Our history began with the founding of the Moser School - an independent business school – in Chicago in 1913. Robert Morris College also has origins in Illinois at the site of the former Carthage College, where it offered associate degrees in both liberal and vocational arts from 1965 to 1974. With the acquisition of the Moser School in 1975, RMC expanded its broad base to include business and allied health programs.
In 1986, the North Central Association of College and Schools accredited Robert Morris College, and the College began offering a full collegiate program of associate and bachelor degrees.
In July 1988, Robert Morris College opened its first branch campus in Springfield, Illinois. Since then, we’ve continued to grow, adding five new campuses across Illinois. Our seventh campus opened in Lake County during fall 2003.

Question:
Is Robert Morris College a good school?
Which is a better school RMC or Northwestern Business College?
Best Answer
Having visited both school's webpages, I think that Robert Morris College looks like a good choice. They are both in the Chicago area, both founded in the early 1900's, so both are long established schools. Either would be good, but the RMC webpage was nicer, if that's any indication.

South of Chicago, DeVry in tinly Park or Robert Morris in Orland Park? Which is better? How do they stack up against Governor's State University in University Park or University of Illinois at Chicago / UIC?

Best Answer
In general, I wouldn't recommend Devry. Especially if one of your options is a respected university such as U Illinois in Chicago. Although the education you get at Devry may be good, the school doesn't have a very good rep amongst employers, and that's certainly going to impact where your career goes. Some employers actually refuse to recruit out of schools like Devry. While other employers won't care, there are enough employers that do care for me to warn you. And if you're an in-state student, the tuition at UIC should be significantly cheaper than that of a private, proprietary school such as Devry.
