Description
There are so many beauty schools out there that it can be tough to know which one to choose. But there's a beauty school in Pawtucket, Rhode Island that can not only boast more than 30 years of service, but also national accreditation. That school is the Newport School of Hairdressing.
Established in 1977, the Newport School serves those located in the Pawtucket, Cumberland, Providence and Attleboro areas and beyond. Programs offered include Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Cosmetology Instruction for those who wish to teach others the trade.
The Newport School aims to give its students a personalized education, rather than taking a "one size fits all" approach to teaching this skilled trade. Not only that, but the school offers lifetime career placement services to its graduates, helping you find a job when you need one.
The school requires a high school diploma or GED for admissions, but students without one also have the option to take an ATB exam instead. Financial aid is available to those who qualify through the FAFSA.
