Description

The mission of Geneva College is to glorify God by educating and ministering to a diverse community of students for the purpose of developing servant-leaders, transforming society for the kingdom of Christ.

We accomplish this through biblically based programs and services marked by excellence and anchored by the historic, evangelical, and Reformed Christian faith.

The curriculum is rooted in the liberal arts and sciences, vocationally focused and delivered through traditional and specialized programs.

At Geneva College education is more than career training. It’s a pathway to purpose-a way for students to find their calling and prepare for a life of service and leadership.

Academics at Geneva are based on a simple assumption: that the world belongs to God. This means that each course at Geneva is an exploration of a particular aspect of life in a world that resounds with God’s grace in Jesus Christ, but which is also affected by human sinfulness. It means that each field of study is an opportunity to pursue God’s calling in learning how to serve wisely and faithfully in God’s world. And, it means that we challenge students every day, in and out of the classroom, to develop keen insight in discerning how life in God’s world is best lived.

Founded in 1848 by the Reformed Presbyterian Church of North America, Geneva is committed to a Christian worldview that acknowledges God's sovereignty over every area of creation. This includes every field of study, every athletic program and every extracurricular pursuit.

Geneva College provides an array of academic options and opportunities rooted in liberal arts and science. Professors with wide-ranging experience and expertise will expand your mind, challenging you to learn more about yourself and the world around you. Of course we offer strong academics and plenty of fun activities to enhance the classroom experience, but we never lose sight of our mission to provide Christ-centered education.

Geneva College is situated on a 55-acre campus in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, which is 35 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. The tree-lined campus with connecting walkways and buildings of diverse architectural styles,is a beautiful and changing setting during the distinct Pennsylvania seasons.
