Description
United Technical Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia has several distinctions of honor which distinguish it from other technical schools. United Tech offers diploma programs in engineering, Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting, Cosmetology, Fire and Management Services and Restaurant Management, among several others. United Tech also has course offerings in the arts and humanities.
Honors received by United Tech came from its high-performing students. A number of student competitors won medals for their skills in United Tech’s national SkillsUSA competition.
In addition to SkillsUSA, students at United Tech have the option to participate in several career-oriented student organizations to enhance and cultivate what’s learned in the classroom. These include the Health Occupations Students of America organization and the National Technical Honor Society.
