Excelsior Springs Area Career Center is no longer one of the best-kept secret in the Kansas City area. Located 20 miles northeast of Kansas City, ESACC is situated in a suburban district, yet in a rural setting. Its unique size, location and educational programs provide students and parents the best education that a suburban or rural school can offer. ESACC is part of the Excelsior Springs School District and is "Accredited with distinction for improvement in performance" by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
ESACC offers secondary vocational-technical programs that complement and expand existing schools' curricula. In addition, post-secondary vocational technical programs are available for adult students interested in further training in their field or learning a new trade. Opportunities through classroom, laboratory and vocational student organization activities are provided that enable students to develop occupational competencies commensurate with entry level skills.
