MCC Description

The Miles Community College in Miles City, Montana, is a junior college that offers a variety of two-year academics and community service outreach projects both designed to strengthen the community of Miles City and, ultimately, Montana.

College life is highly involved with the community. From field trips to Broadway musicals and other world-class entertainment, workforce development courses in Writing, Home Repair and Computers to Miles City job fairs, you’ll have access to just as many workshops and service learning opportunities as classes.

To further enrich your collegiate experience, Miles has several student organizations that will help you develop professional skills in your field of study, like the Agriculture Club, Forensics Club and Multicultural Club.

A large number of associate’s degrees are offered at Miles, including:

  • Agribusiness
  • Business Management
  • Networking and PC Maintenance
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Paraprofessional (with emphases in Elementary and Secondary Education)

To encourage students of all ages to continue their education, the school maintains an open admissions policy. As long as you’re 18 or older, received a high school diploma, GED or satisfactory results from the COMPASS test, you are eligible to apply.

Tuition rates differ by residency. Students in Custer County receive in-district tuition discounts, while students from Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming and Saskatchewan also pay lower tuition costs.
