Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell is a dynamic, academic and career oriented Community University. ENMU-Roswell offers more than 70 certificates and associate degrees in a variety of academic and career oriented programs. ENMU-Roswell students take online classes, pursue advanced degrees, and receive personal attention from instructors using the latest in education technology. Selected bachelor’s and master’s level courses are also available through the main campus in Portales. A customized training program (Center for Workforce and Community Development) is available for business and industry. Each semester, ENMU-Roswell enrolls more than 4,000 students in credit bearing courses. Hundreds more are served through a variety of non-credit classes and numerous community partnerships. A full range of career advising services are available, in addition to a unique program for students with disabilities. More than 100 courses are taught online each semester and ENMU-Roswell also offers an accredited online general education transfer degree, the Associate of Arts degree in University Studies.
Classes are taught by more than 60 full-time instructors and more than 200 adjunct instructors. Some of the programs available include Aviation Maintenance Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Criminal Justice, Dental Assisting, Computer Application Systems, Nursing, Media Arts, Respiratory Therapy, and Engineering and Design Technology.
