NYU Poly Description

New York’s Polytechnic Institute is a comprehensive school of engineering, technology, applied sciences and research located in downtown Brooklyn, New York.

With 11 academic departments and 156 years of tradition, NYU-Poly prides itself on its racial and ethnic diversity and student-to-teacher ratio. Undergraduate students can choose from one of the following academic programs that NYU-Poly has to offer:

NYU-Poly has an admissions checklist for students to ensure that they have everything they need when they apply. When applying to this school, students should have the following items prepared: completed application, official transcript, standardized test scores (SAT, ACT or TOEFL), personal essay, two letters of recommendation, and an application fee.

The application fee differs for domestic and international students, so students should check the amount they need to pay before submitting their application.

Financial aid is available for students who qualify. In order to qualify for financial aid, students must complete their FAFSA each year.
