OKWU Description

A four-year Christian school, Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma offers a unique, integrated approach to learning.

Academics at OKWU are divided into distinctive colleges within the university. These include schools of Business, Nursing, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Humanities. There is also the College of Religion and Philosophy, where students may get degrees in such areas as Biblical Studies, Pastoral Ministry, Youth Ministry and Sports Ministry.

Whether getting a degree in Theology or another academic area, students are taken through a unique approach to learning. This approach asks students to examine their subject area from both a secular and a Christian perspective.

OKWU’s student life is also integrative. A spiritual life team, a campus ministry, Bible study groups and intramural sports and recreational activities may all be found at OKWU. Student services include career development, testing, disability services and mentoring.

Admission to OKWU is based on several factors including a minimum GPA and test scores.

Financial aid is available to eligible students to help cover the cost of tuition and other fees.
