At Anoka, each student is assigned to a personal life coach. This person helps you to map out career goals, discover strengths, prepare for the future, develop study strategies, formulate a budget and devise a fitness plan among other things.

The coach also coordinates the student’s tutoring sessions, financial aid counseling and even student life opportunities.

Admission to Anoka Tech is based on submission of an online application. A high diploma or GED is also required. Once students are admitted they must declare a major if taking nine units or more.

Anoka tech is great. they are continually growing, in size, and academically for student and staff. Everything so far has been a great experience. I'd have to say the best is finishing each semester. It give you a sense of accomplishment. My advice, "Relax, find what you love and go for it."
