Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, Connecticut offers comprehensive academics, supportive services and student life opportunities.

Aviation Technology, Business, General Studies, Graphic Design, Human Services, Physical Therapy Assistance, Nursing and Theatre Arts are just some of the associate degrees and certificates available.

Designed to support students in all aspects of their education, the Academic Support Center provides tutoring, study group opportunities, placement testing and disability support services.

Student life options are also comprehensive. Students have the opportunity to participate in art, business, cultural, academic, religious, professional and sports clubs. Housatonic also houses a well-known museum, which is open to the public and features work by some of the world’s most respected artists.

Admission requirements include a high school diploma or GED and submission of transcripts. Those who have taken the SAT or ACT tests do not have to take placement tests.

Financial aid is available for eligible students and may include loans, grants and other forms of tuition assistance. Tuition is waived for senior citizens and qualifying veterans.
