Question: Has anyone here been in the Brookdale Community College nursing program?I am finishing up my prereqs and I have a few questions about the program. How long did you wait before you got accepted into the program? Did you hear of a way to get up higer on the waiting list? Are the teachers good? What hospitals are available for clinicals? Were there study groups available or do you have to make your own? And any other advice or info would be much appreciated. THANX IN ADVANCE!10 months ago
Best AnswerIt's a great school, with outstanding educators and fantastic course work. No study groups or hospitals, however. |
Question: ???Question about financial aid for college???i am going to brookdale community college.. they are going to give me financial aid to pay for my books and things... does anybody who has recieved financial aid from brookdale or another college think they have an idea on when i will get my financial aid?17 months ago
Best AnswerUsually, financial aid refunds to students go out after the 100% tuition refund deadline. This is usually the end of the second week of the term. After that, they'll cut checks and either mail them or let you pick them up. You'll have to call the financial aid office at your school to get an exact date, and they'll be able to tell you! |
Question: Freshman at Brookdale Community wanting to transfer to Rutgers after 1 year. what are the chances of gettin inHi Im a freshman at Brookdale Community college in new jersey wanting to transfer to Rutgers University for fall semester 08. I took 16 credits this past fall semster and have a 4.0 gpa at Brookdale right now. Do you guys think I have a chance at gettin into the Rutgers school of arts and sciences at new brunswick or at newark at all? I applied already but im sooooooo nervous i was wondering if you guys had any ideas as to what my chances might be? I do not have an associates and i have only completed one semseter at brookdale and will be starting the spring semester soon. my high school and sat scores arent the best =/24 months ago
Best AnswerRutgers has "sub-colleges." Which one are you applying for? Mason Gross is hard to get into but with that GPA you should be fine. Livingston is the easiest to get in. |
Question: Which college should I go to?My friends and family are driving me crazy with what I'm going to end up doing with college. I live in New Jersey and my first choice was Rutger's University. Very good school, it's close to home and just fits perfect. Then there is Penn State that has offer to what I want to do in live but the price would take its toll on me. I have two older siblings that are getting out of college and just paying a lot of money. My parents want me to go to Brookdale Community College would for sure be cheaper, but I just feel like I'd be missing the experience. Just stuck and looking for some help. Thanks.30 months ago
Best AnswerYou should be able to make your own decision on where to go to school. I know someone that went to Rutgers and he has a great education. Community College would be cheaper but you need to figure out what you want to do and if youor credits will transfer to a 4 year college. Community college shouldnt be forever and I have seen people go to one for years (waste of time). Figure out what you want to do and where you want to go. I am not sure if your parents will be paying for this-but talk to them about it. |
