Statement of Mission and Objectives
The Headquarters Academy of Hair Design is a privately owned, coeducational institution serving the North Central area of North Dakota. As an institution of post-secondary education, the Headquarters Academy avows its belief in the value of education for the advancement of human capability. The Cosmetology program offered by this institution is designed to develop students practical skills and educate them in the basic theoretical knowledge required to provide professional care for the hair, skin and nails of the public, to enable them to successfully pass the state licensing examination, and to secure entry level employment in the field of hair styling and cosmetology. This is to be accomplished within the laws, regulations, and guidelines established by the United States Department of Education, the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences and North Dakota State Board of Cosmetology.
