PHILOSOPHY
The central mission of American College of Medical Technology is to provide an educational career program designed to prepare students for employment in the allied health fields. In support of this philosophy, the College is innovative in its curriculum, seeking to offer programs where jobs are high in demand.
The College is employment-intensive in its focus, and responsive to employers' needs. The College's philosophy is that the students' interests are always the highest priority.
OBJECTIVES
Education and training at American College of Medical Technology are directed
toward preparing students to:
1. Develop technical skills, knowledge and understanding of their application.
2. Develop professional attitudes and behaviors related to study and work habits.
3. Develop interpersonal communication skills, self-discipline and confidence.
In order to aid the students in achieving these objectives American College of Medical Technology has established a professional work-like environment consisting of:
1. A faculty of mature and competent industry professionals who possess superior job related knowledge, skills and enthusiasm in teaching and sensitivity and concern for students and their progress.
2. An atmosphere that brings out the best effort in each student. The faculty makes learning demands on the time, mental resources and character of its students.
3. A curriculum devoted to job-related subjects and tasks enabling the students to focus on their major areas of interest.
