Maryland Beauty Academy and Baltimore Studio of Hair Design offer hands-on training in the beauty arts for Baltimore, Maryland residents. The training at Maryland Beauty Academy leads to such careers as hair stylist, nail technician, make-up artist, esthetician, salon manager or owner and hair specialist among others.
Certification can take anywhere from 12 weeks for a nail technician program to 10 or 24 months for cosmetology programs, depending on whether one attends part or full-time.
With three campus locations throughout Baltimore, Maryland Beauty provides hands-on training at all three locations where students offer hair, nail and make-up services to the public under teacher supervision.
Eligible students at Maryland Beauty may receive financial aid through Pell grants, federal loans, Maryland state grants and school-based grants. These options, along with the application process may be discussed with a Maryland Beauty Academy financial aid counselor.
